What this site collects

Nothing that identifies you. We don’t use tracking cookies, third-party analytics or ad pixels. Fonts and videos are served by the site itself.

What stays in your browser

A few preferences are kept only in your browser: your chosen language and the animation setting (localStorage, until you clear this site’s data), and whether the opening was shown (sessionStorage, cleared when you close the tab). If you ask Mio to pass your answers to the form, they wait there the same way until the form reads them, and are then removed. Nothing is sent to a server.

Project form

For now, the form doesn’t send data. What you write stays on your device until you choose to copy or download it. When online sending is turned on, this page will say who receives the data, why, for how long and how to request deletion — before sending starts.

Kotodino friends on the home page

Choosing a friend only changes what the page shows. Nothing is saved or sent.
